Poetry was another way for people to express their feelings regarding the Vietnam War. Poetry can be used to create meaning through artistic forms of literature. Poetic devices such as rhyme scheme, structure and line punctuation are used to affect the message that the poem gives. The three poems that follow all have different ways of conveying the meaning that they do.
